Start a Project

Four short steps. The more you can tell me about the problem, the more useful my first reply will be.

This form is the front door to working together, and it is built around the questions that actually determine whether I can help: what you are building, what it is for, where it is stuck, and what you are working with. Answer those and I can come back with something considered rather than a request for more information.

You do not need a specification. Most of my best conversations start from a situation rather than a plan. Something is not working, or it has outgrown the way it was set up, and the answer is still unclear. Working that out is part of the job, not a prerequisite for starting it.

Nothing here commits you to anything. If what you need is outside what I do, or a smaller change than you expect, I will say so. An honest answer is worth more to both of us than a proposal built to fit a budget.
